GCR advises members to use the online cart and avoid visiting other coupon or cashback sites between clicking from GCR and completing the purchase because this can affect tracking.
Wait for the cashback to become payable
Eligible rebates are posted after tracking and merchant confirmation. GCR currently states that PayPal payouts require at least $12 in eligible balance and a minimum waiting period of about 58 days for rebates and bonuses.
Great Canadian Rebates referral bonus
GCR’s current referral program pays the referring member 25% of the eligible cashback rebates earned by each new member they refer for two years. Travel transactions are excluded from this referral calculation, and signup bonuses or other bonuses do not count toward the 25% referral bonus.
There is currently no stated limit on the number of people a GCR member can refer. The person joining still earns the normal cashback available on their own eligible purchases; the 25% referral bonus is paid separately to the referring member.
